Francis McMahon is best known for his role as Dirk in the feature film “He Died With a Falafel in His Hand”. He has also starred in the films “Rage in Placid Lake”, “Rats and Cats”,  and “The Secret”. He has had many guest appearances on TV including the mini series “My Brother Jack”, “Wilfred” and his character shot Maggie Doyle’s brother in “Blue Heelers”. He has starred in many plays including the acclaimed “The Omega Quest” which featured in back to back Melbourne Fringe Festivals as well as “Don’t Dress For Dinner” at the Duchess Theatre in the West End, London. Francis recently appeared in the award winning web series “Bruce” which sees him portray a very funny parallel universe version of Governor Arthur Phillip. Highlights of 2019 include Francis playing Jock in The Club by David Williamson, Polonius in Hamlet for the Brisbane Shakespeare Festival and Evan Geyer in the US series Reef Break.
